Acquire Talent Partners LLC is representing a large prestigious Non-Profit Organization seeking a VP of Finance to lead their accounting and financial reporting responsibilities. The role involves overseeing accounting operations, managing internal controls, and providing financial information to Board Committees while mentoring the accounting team.

Responsibilities

Oversee and direct all accounting operations, including cash receipts/disbursements, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger management, financial reporting, and audits

Establish and monitor internal controls, policies, and procedures. Manage business systems staff, coordinate with IT on financial software implementation, and support automation of finance functions

Directs all accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable, financial reporting, cash management, and administration of the organization’s credit card program in compliance with established policies

Upgrade and implement financial policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures

Oversees and partners with external auditors on all organizational audits (financial statements and 403(b) plan) and annual tax filings, including Forms 990, 990T, CHAR500, etc

Provide financial information to Board Committees (Investment, Audit, Finance), coordinate budgeting and results analysis, collaborate with Legal on insurance and risk management, and review agreements for accounting accuracy

Provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and a high-performance culture
