Business Development Specialist
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Technical Programs Development Specialist to generate new business opportunities in the Houston market. This role focuses on initiating high-value conversations and booking qualified discovery meetings with decision-makers while collaborating with internal technical teams.

Responsibilities
Identify and pursue prospective clients across petrochemical, energy, industrial manufacturing, healthcare, and related sectors
Initiate outreach through networking, referrals, site visits, industry events, and targeted follow-ups
Secure qualified discovery meetings with appropriate client decision-makers
Ask thoughtful, strategic questions to uncover client problems, risks, compliance gaps, and operational challenges
Build early-stage relationships based on trust, credibility, and responsiveness
Maintain consistent follow-up to advance opportunities through the discovery process
Represent FTS professionally at industry functions and client meetings
Log all activities, notes, and opportunities in the CRM system in accordance with company standards
Participate in weekly business development check-ins and quarterly performance reviews
Follow the company’s structured sales and discovery process consistently
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or client-facing roles
Strong communication skills and comfort engaging professionals in technical environments
Highly organized, coachable, and receptive to structured feedback
Self-motivated with the discipline to work within defined KPIs
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
Ability to travel locally to client sites, networking events, and meetings
Ability to use standard office equipment and technology
Preferred
Exposure to industrial, environmental, safety, engineering, or laboratory services is a plus (not required)
Familiarity with the Houston-area market preferred
