Responsibilities
Lead the transformation and aggressive modernization of our core business systems
Support the GRM US strategic objective of being #1 in the Independent Agent (IA) channel
Drive performance and stability optimizations for the platform while providing technical leadership across the community
Focus on quality, engineering excellence, and scalability to drive long-term expansion and success of the business
Lead deliveries of flagship initiatives and commitments
Drive engineering excellence with participation in the High-Performance Engineering program
Maximize reuse by demonstrating championing common software patterns and designing componentized features
Domestic travel required up to 10%
Telecommuting permitted up to 100%
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field
five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a Principal Software Engineer-related occupation
Demonstrable Experience In Java and Springboot
Demonstrable Experience In JAXB and Eclipse
Demonstrable Experience In Databases
Demonstrable Experience In Working with GitHub
Demonstrable Experience In CI/CD; DevOps; Jira; Maven and AWS associated technologies
Domestic travel required up to 10%
Telecommuting permitted up to 100%
