Responsibilities
Partnering with Agile delivery teams to design, build, test, deploy, and support full-stack applications
Leading engineers with expertise in machine learning, microservices, and distributed systems
Developing solutions using languages such as Java, Scala, and Python
Working with relational and NoSQL databases, as well as cloud-based data platforms like Redshift and Snowflake
Collaborating with product leaders to deliver cloud-native solutions that create meaningful customer impact
Writing clean, well-tested, and performance-optimized code
Conducting code reviews and guiding engineering best practices
Staying current with emerging technologies and sharing knowledge through mentorship and technical communities
Contributing to a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
6+ years of professional software development experience
2+ years working with big data technologies
1+ year of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Preferred
Master's degree
9+ years of application development experience using Python, SQL, Scala, or Java
4+ years working in a public cloud environment
Extensive experience with distributed computing and data processing tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, Hive, EMR)
Experience building real-time and streaming data solutions
Strong background with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses like Redshift or Snowflake
Solid knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments, including shell scripting
Experience working within Agile engineering frameworks
