Manufacturing Process Engineer II
Stellar Technology is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer II who will be responsible for running and maintaining the production process while constantly seeking improvements in quality and efficiency. The role involves managing projects to enhance manufacturing processes and ensuring that production meets current and future demands.

Responsibilities
Independently identifies, plans and manages projects to improve and expand upon Production, Design, and Manufacturing processes. This can include oversight of cross functional team members, implementation of new equipment, introduction of new manufacturing processes, and other duties as necessary to support the project initiative
Maintains oversight of Production process efficiency, through dotted line reporting to the Production Manager, with the goal of increasing capacity through process improvement
Oversees production manufacturing processes and identifies optimization opportunities for product manufacturing technologies across the Company’s portfolio
Acts as a liaison between Design Engineering and Production, reporting directly to Design Engineering, to ensure production processes satisfy current demand and support future growth
Responsible for process qualification including any compilation of data or evidence used to justify the introduction of new processes or the revision of current methodologies
Supports the NPI efforts for new manufacturing technologies and their development into Stellar’s standard processes
Provides mentorship and professional development opportunities for the members of the team
Generates any necessary engineering documentation to communicate manufacturing, design, and related information to internal and external parties
Determines and reviews the Production requirements to support manufacturing and program capacity within all areas of the organization
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
3-5 relevant experience
Familiarity with sensing or instrumentation technologies with hands on experience in their implementation and usage
Ability to lead and navigate projects related manufacturing and process improvements
Proficient in effective communication (verbal and written) with internal and external parties
Ability to generate end to end documentation required for product launch (internal, external, regulatory, and other third-party certification bodies)
Background in electrical and mechanical design theory
