The Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor will oversee the performance of Behavioral Health Technicians, assist with hiring, and ensure a safe therapeutic environment for clients.

Responsibilities

Supervises Behavioral Health Technicians and provides feedback on their performance

Assists with interviewing and hiring BHTs

Assists with employee disciplinary actions

Develops employee schedules

Assists with interventions with clients

Maintains a safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment for clients

Attends facility meetings and coordinates BHT department meetings

Assigns, monitors, and completes all required trainings for self and third shift BHTs

Other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required

Valid Driver's License required

Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to problem-solve by gathering and analyzing information, working well in individual/group problem-solving situations, and showing initiative in problem-solving

Maintains professionalism and does not show favoritism

Maintains consistency with clients, staff, visitors, and the public

Ability to handle a crisis situation and react appropriately

Capable of role modeling to the clients and BHTs

Helps to maintain a strong clinical program

Completes required trainings and mandatory training hours
