Responsibilities
Accurately and timely file indirect taxes, including sales tax, VAT, GST, and other applicable local taxes
Research and ensure adherence to tax regulations at the state, local, and international levels
Reconcile all tax-related general ledger accounts, such as property tax, sales and use tax, corporate income tax, and VAT
Respond to tax-related inquiries and support audits conducted by internal teams, external auditors, and global tax authorities
Stay informed on changes in tax legislation, evaluate potential impacts on the business, and communicate key updates to leadership
Execute month-end tax close activities, including preparing accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses
Contribute to global tax planning efforts, including transfer pricing assessments and documentation of intercompany transactions
Strengthen and maintain internal controls to ensure accurate tax reporting and compliance
Partner with cross-functional teams across IT, Sales, and Finance to support business initiatives
Assist in the implementation and optimization of tax automation tools and ERP system improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA a plus)
2+ years of tax experience
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Sales & Use Tax Experience preferred
Global tax experience a plus
