Clinical Program Manager

Responsibilities
Develops individual goals and initiates own evaluation within department to enhance clinical practice and professional growth by assuming a leadership role in clinical education and the evaluation and communication of program goals and outcomes
Directs and monitors all program staff in order to meet and maintain all program competencies as well as assist with continuing education of staff and faculty
Participates in long-and short-term program development and planning
Provides full supervisory authority over staff; including recruitment, disciplinary action, performance evaluations and orientation and training
Continuously strives to improve clinical, educational, research, and advocacy programs in department; sets and models high performance standards that empower staff to achieve agreed upon outcomes
Maintains program to meet all national standards and requirements of accrediting organizations including collection and reporting of data to appropriate national registries and databases
Maintains shared fiscal accountability with program leadership in the development of annual budgets, managing and providing variance reporting, payroll documentation, capital budget development, and revenue stream analysis. Understands, manages and communicates overall CHCO and departmental financial responsibilities and goals
Monitors program activities to ensure quality and accuracy of work outcomes. Coordinate evaluation and quality improvement activities, including collaboration and evaluation with other hospitals and agencies as appropriate
Utilizes expert evidence based practice to provide clinical expertise to the patient, family and healthcare team by coordinating developmentally appropriate care and evaluating outcomes as appropriate. Provides clinical follow up when desired outcomes are not achieved
Develops presentations and other materials for use during program related events, trainings and meetings
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a medical/clinical related field appropriate to assignment
Three Years' Experience Relevant To Assignment
Professional experience, in addition to the required experience, may substitute the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis
A Master's degree may substitute for the required experience on a year-for year basis
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
Professional certification or license may be required depending upon field of expertise
