Responsibilities

Prepares invoicing from bills of lading, ensuring accurate pricing

Inputs data from invoices into computer system

Files paperwork related to bills of lading and invoices

Ensures that correct product codes are used for inputting and retrieving information from computer system

Cash Application to customer accounts:

Daily prepay application

Weekly prepay application detail reports to customers

Completes payment reconciliation

Processes and files monthly customer statements

Monthly accounts receivable reconciliation for past due invoices

Works closely with credit department concerning credit status of customers’ terms

Works closely with sales representative to resolve account issues

Assists customers with invoices/accounts

Provides reports (account aging, application detail, sales and history) as appropriate to customers, sales representative and Company management

Achieves and maintains professional rapport with customers and sales representatives to provide the best possible, cost effective customer service

Maintains customer specific pricing matrix, keeping up-to-date with all product programs in effect

Assists warehouse personnel (shipping and receiving) in coordinating shipments to maximize freight savings and expediting delivery of product
