This role focuses on building next-generation hardware security features for laptop devices, spanning secure boot, trusted platform technologies, and low-level system components.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement hardware and platform security features, including secure boot components, trusted platform functionality, and low-level system software
Write, review, and maintain cryptographic software, including encryption and decryption logic used in platform security scenarios
Develop and test firmware, drivers, and operating system–level components that support device security and trusted execution
Participate in sprint execution, technical design reviews, testing, and post-implementation validation to ensure high-quality, secure feature delivery

Required

5–7 years of professional software engineering experience in large-scale or system-level environments
5+ years of hands-on experience with hardware security concepts such as secure boot, trusted platform modules, and platform trust chains
5+ years of experience developing cryptographic software, including encryption and decryption implementations
5+ years of experience working with low-level firmware, drivers, or operating system internals
Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
Experience troubleshooting and unit testing complex systems across new and legacy codebases
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
