Responsibilities
Assessing the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients
Analyzing financial data and reviewing third-party reports
Preparing reports and conducting market analysis
Evaluating client credit worthiness and assessing risk
Making recommendations to support decision-making in credit issuance that are compliant with regulations and the Bank’s policies
Assisting the Bank’s loan officers in the field
Compiling monthly Credit Department Reports
Mentoring less experienced analysts
Qualification
Required
5 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or a related field
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Extremely strong with analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis with the ability to interpret financial statements and data
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial analysis software
Listening, influencing, negotiating, client focus, conflict resolution and clear & logical communication skills
Preferred
Strong knowledge of general banking regulations
