They are currently seeking a Senior Paving Construction Inspector to oversee various types of pavement rehabilitation projects, ensuring quality and safety throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities
Interfacing with contactors and attending meetings
Mentoring or supervising other inspectors, on behalf of resident engineer, or project manager
Complete daily reports, measure and calculate unit price quantities
Coordinate independent material sampling and testing
Monitor maintenance of traffic
Take and compile photographs, for tracking of daily progress.Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
7 years applicable experience
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, design plans and specifications
Have a valid driver's license
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred
Associate of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or related field
Average proficiency with MS WORD Suite
NETTCP HMA certifications, or ability to attain within 3-months of hiring
Hands-on experience with construction management software such as Site or Field Manager, APPIA, Procore, IPD or similar systems
Knowledge of Bluebeam
Any combination of college education, professional licenses, certifications and experience will be considered
