Esri is hosting the largest gathering of GIS professionals in the world at their annual User Conference. The User Conference Event Assistant will provide excellent customer experiences by managing registrations, engaging with attendees and sponsors, and supporting various event-related tasks.

Responsibilities

Process registrations and registration payments from attendees and sponsors
Receive and maintain submissions for the map gallery and presentations
Communicate with presenters, attendees, sponsors, and staff via phone and email to answer event-related questions
Organize and input data across various spreadsheets to track event activities, materials, and schedules
Update internal and external resources related to event
Assist team with other event-related tasks as needed

Required

1+ years of experience working in events, or the hospitality industry
Adhere to Esri's in person event attendance requirements here
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable with a variety of online systems
Detail oriented to ensure accuracy for analysis and research of crucial data
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills due to heavy phone work and customer service with our users and business partners
Availability to work on weekends and travel as needed
Ability to type 45 WPM
Bachelor's degree in marketing, hospitality, or a related field
