Responsibilities
Serve as the primary presales technical and solution expert for Versaterm Mindbase
Lead discovery sessions with public safety agencies to understand mental wellness, peer support, leadership, and operational needs
Design and present tailored product demonstrations that clearly communicate Mindbase's value to both technical and non-technical audiences
Partner with Sales to develop solution strategies that align Mindbase capabilities with agency goals, policies, and cultural considerations
Support RFP and RFI responses by providing accurate, compelling technical, security, and compliance content
Articulate Mindbase's approach to confidentiality, data security, and trust; critical factors for first responder adoption
Collaborate with Product Management to relay market feedback and influence roadmap priorities
Assist in proof-of-concepts, pilots, and technical evaluations as needed
Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, reinforcing Versaterm's commitment to human-centered public safety technology
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in presales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting roles
Experience supporting SaaS platforms, ideally within public safety, healthcare, GovTech, or wellness-focused solutions
Strong understanding of public safety environments (law enforcement, fire, EMS, or 911) and their unique cultural and operational challenges
Ability to communicate complex technical and data-driven concepts with empathy and clarity
Experience contributing to RFP/RFI responses and procurement-driven sales cycles
Comfort presenting to a wide range of stakeholders, including command staff, wellness leaders, IT, and executive leadership
Passion for mental wellness, mission-driven technology, and improving outcomes for first responders
Compliance with the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy
Successful completion of a comprehensive, fingerprint-based background check
Ability to obtain and maintain all required security clearances
