INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (ENTARCH)
U.S. Marine Forces Cyberspace Command is seeking an Information Technology Specialist (ENTARCH). The role involves applying knowledge of network architecture and security, directing network vulnerability analysis, and ensuring the security of wireless applications.

Responsibilities
You will apply knowledge of network architecture, security fundamentals, and familiarization with multiple computer operating systems (OS)
You will direct scans and analysis of network vulnerability, configuration analysis, and network architecture analysis
You will apply current software and methodologies for active defense and system hardening
You will analyze and define security requirements for wireless applications and structure, including vulnerabilities in various types of wireless applications
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

Must possess a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance
Must pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph

The incumbent must also attain and maintain a DoDI 8570.01-M certification of at least IAM-II, within 12 months of assignment
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include periodic weekend/holiday work
Occasional Temporary Assigned Duty (TAD) is required
This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (511,531,and 651), proficiency level (Advanced)
You are required to have information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies: Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, Problem Solving
You are required to have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position
Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: Evaluating, defining, designing, and redesigning IT architectures and infrastructures, including policies and processes for ensuring the security and integrity of data networks
At a minimum, all CES employees in the Professional Work Category require a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
