Responsibilities
Design and implement comprehensive API test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing of RESTful and SOAP APIs
Conduct Telecom (Mobile Postpaid/Prepaid Service) testing with strong domain knowledge
Execute test design, test execution, and defect management processes
Assess test results, identify root causes of issues, and provide detailed reports and recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide clear status updates
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience in API testing, with at least 3+ years in the Telecom domain
Strong hands-on experience with REST/SOAP API testing tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, JMeter, ReadyAPI)
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle, and CI/CD integration
Preferred
ISTQB or equivalent testing certification is a plus
Familiarity with Telecom BSS/OSS systems and integration testing
Experience with performance testing tools and security validation
