Responsibilities
Assist customers in selecting lumber and related building materials
Provide knowledgeable advice on lumber types, sizes, and uses
Load and unload lumber and other heavy materials safely
Maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
Keep the lumber department clean, organized, and safe
Operate forklifts or other equipment as required (training provided)
Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service
Qualification
Required
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic math skills for measuring and inventory tasks
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible part-time hours
Ability to operate equipment safely (training provided)
Preferred
Previous experience in lumber, building materials, or retail is preferred but not required
