Responsibilities
Execute quality tests on all products produced
Elevate deviations discovered in product testing
Place out of specification batches and raw materials on hold
Maintain documentation used in the QC lab daily
Conduct daily and weekly calibration of lab equipment
Inform QA Supervisor or Manager when equipment needs to be sent out for calibration
Inform QA Supervisor or Manager when supplies need to be reordered. Retrieve in-house supplies from warehouse when needed
Qualification
Required
Quality Assurance leadership experience in a regulated production environment required; experience in food manufacturing is strongly preferred
Laboratory and testing experience required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
SQF and/or HACCP certification is highly desired
