PROJECT ARCHITECT

Responsibilities
All duties assigned to Senior and Project Coordinators, designers, and technicians
Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s needs
Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects
Independently apply advanced architectural concepts and designs
Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures
May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects
Travel to and visit project construction sites to observe construction progress and compose field reports. (Site visits may require travel involving both day trips and some overnight stays to out-of- town project locations)
Will be responsible for mentoring the following, but is not limited to; less experienced staff
Qualification
Required
Five to Eight years of experience
Certification as licensed professional architect required
Professional degree in architecture
