Procurement Manager
Ascend Aesthetic Partners is a network of accomplished plastic surgeons dedicated to advancing aesthetic medicine. They are seeking a hands-on Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing, vendor coordination, and inventory support across their multi-site healthcare platform.

Responsibilities
Create and manage purchase orders, catalogs, and item masters
Resolve backorders, substitutions, delivery issues, and pricing discrepancies
Serve as the primary point of contact for clinic-level ordering questions
Lead procurement implementation of newly acquired practices
Manage ongoing vendor relationships and operational communication
Conduct light vendor negotiations (pricing adjustments, substitutions, service issues, freight, MOQs)
Support CFO/CEO-led negotiations with pricing analysis, vendor comparisons, and savings tracking
Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as needed
Lead the implementation of a new procurement and inventory management system
Partner with Finance, Operations, and clinical teams to design workflows and controls
Train clinic staff and managers on new systems and processes
Drive adoption and compliance post-implementation
Maintain procurement and inventory system
Lead the rollout of a new GPO contract across all clinics
Ensure clinics are purchasing through approved vendors and contracted pricing
Monitor contract compliance and identify pricing variances
Track savings versus baseline pricing and report results to leadership
Partner with clinical and OR leadership to reduce SKU proliferation
Standardize supplies where appropriate
Increase use of approved non-brand and private-label products
Support inventory processes including par levels, reorder points, and cycle counts
Assist with preference cards and procedure-level supply optimization
Reduce stockouts, expirations, and excess inventory
Prepare regular reporting on spend, pricing compliance, and savings
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
Document and improve procurement workflows as the company scales
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain
Proven ability to be both tactical and analytical
Experience implementing procurement and/or inventory systems
Comfortable working with clinical stakeholders and driving standardization
Strong Excel skills and experience with procurement software
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable in a fast-growth environment
Preferred
Healthcare, ASC, dental, or multi-state experience strongly preferred
