Responsibilities

Build scalable, reliable backend systems and AI-powered interfaces for healthcare, member services, and sales. You are expected to ship code on a daily basis alongside the rest of the team
Partner with teams across Operations, Engineering, and Sales to understand workflows, uncover pain points, define automation opportunities, and ensure alignment on goals and outcomes
Create and iterate on functional prototypes to test ideas and refine user experience
Write clean, extensible code that supports both short-term MVPs and long-term growth

Required

5+ years of professional software experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate both technical thinking and interpersonal feedback
Interest in the U.S. healthcare system and its complexities
Systems thinking mindset with a focus on clear and performant data pipeline design and scalable backend systems
Ability to prototype quickly and refactor for production
Familiar with Python

Preferred

Startup experience or worked on open source side projects
Familiarity with Flask, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, React, and/or Next.js
Experience with building ETLs, scaling platforms that power backend APIs, and working with large datasets
Experience in healthcare or with EHRs and vendor integrations
