Responsibilities
Primarily perform QA surveillances, assessments, audits, and reviews to determine compliance with and effective implementation of the CPCCo QA Program
Develop, review and approve documents and procedures implementing the CPCCo QA Program to assure QA requirements are integrated into project work planning, procurement, and assurance of performance. These are to include commercial grade dedications and product Quality Assurance Inspection Plans
Perform field inspection and oversight of work activities using basic, mechanical and welding level II inspection disciplines
Provide expert QA/QC guidance and problem-solving expertise as requested to resolve and prevent quality problems
Perform contract and contractor oversight activities
Provide QA Engineer support to CPCCo Projects
Qualification
Required
Career Level Grade 18: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience with 6 or more years of relevant experience
Career Level Grade 19: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience with 8 or more years of relevant experience
Senior Level Grade 20: Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience with 10 or more years of relevant experience
Preferred
Proficient in the use of computer-based procurement and work control systems
Prior experience and knowledge of ASME, AWS, ASNT, ISO, ASTM, IBC, NQA-1 Standards & Commercial Grade Dedication Methods
Prior inspection certifications for basic, mechanical, civil, and welding
Experience in supporting nuclear facility construction
Experience performing project document reviews, surveillances, and audits
Experience and knowledge of software quality assurance
