Clinical Research Coordinator 1

Responsibilities
Manages and coordinates the care of patients participating in a clinical research study with guidance from preceptor, educator and/or administrator
Educates patients, families and staff regarding study compliance
Collects a complete and accurate study data set and facilitates accrual to clinical research studies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time acute care or clinical research experience; or
Associate's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time acute care or clinical research experience
Incumbents must obtain certification through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) or the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) within three (3) years of appointment as a condition of continued employment
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices
Preferred
Previous Clinical Research Experience @Academic Medical Center
Previous clinical oncology experience
Certification by either ACRP or SOCRA
Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences or a medical field
Experience with FDA regulations and GCP/ICH guidance
CITI course training completed
Previous experience with Serious Adverse Event and UP Reporting
Willingness to take part in Weekend Safety Reporting coverage
