They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design of major projects in Aviation/Transportation engineering design. The role involves technical leadership, project management, and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Participates in QA/QC process of completed work by staff

Performs “Engineer of Record” duties for projects

Performs calculations, equipment selection, equipment specification, system design, system layout, field investigation, and construction administration

Performs staff resource management and review

Produces drawings consistent with client requirements and standards

Provides consulting engineering services including preparation of due diligence reports, gap analyses, and feasibility reports

Pursues continuing education

Represents Firm in all interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members

Take responsible charge for the project for his/her discipline, addressing any E & O issues

Supervises 1 – 2 employees, leads EOR or Project Manager for Projects up to 100M construction costs

Required

Current PE registration as a Mechanical Engineer

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university

Minimum of 8 years' experience working in a consulting firm

3+ year supervisory, Project manager

Candidate should possess a strong ability to coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom, as well as its constructability and cost

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT experience

PE required
