Responsibilities

Maintain a general awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise, promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements, while also maintaining the flexibility to work in different departments as needed

Maintain the flow of product to the sales floor from the store receiving areas and assist with markdown and clearance management for areas per company guidelines

Evaluate customers’ needs, make recommendations, and apply apparel knowledge to help the customer in the decision-making process

Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisitioning merchandise from stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed

Maintain database and file shipping/receiving records for the department

Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes

Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Required

Ability to spend work time standing or moving about the departments within the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis

Ability to tag, hang, and sensor merchandise

Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems

Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
