They are seeking a Studio Pattern/Sample Maker who is an expert in patternmaking and sewing, responsible for engineering patterns, cutting, sewing, and assembling samples while collaborating with various teams throughout the apparel development process.

Responsibilities
Keep abreast of market trends, understand team goals, new technologies and consumer needs throughout the development process
Engage appropriately to ensure projects are completed within corporate guidelines and goals for all facets of product creation
Collaborate with Design, Product Management, PCC, materials and manufacturing to effectively execute on product development & fit goals deliverables
Qualification
Required
5-10yrs patternmaking and/or sample sewing in the apparel industry, which includes the apparel development process from inception through production including pattern making, grading, construction materials, costing, manufacturing and quality
Expertise in patternmaking, sewing and garment construction
Strong problem solving, organization and communication skills
Experience interpreting design intent, offering alternative solutions, and acting as a technical resource
Ability to manage multiple projects
Proficiency with MS Office programs
Support team with SOP development
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in apparel design, textile science or related field
Additional product creation experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience using Optitex/Gerber, CLO/Browzwear, Adobe Illustrator, CAD Pattern Design software highly desired
