VP Premier Banking Relationship Manager

Responsibilities

Develop and manage a portfolio of affluent and high-net-worth clients, delivering tailored banking, credit, and wealth solutions
Proactively identify and pursue new client acquisition opportunities through networking, referrals, and professional relationships
Conduct comprehensive financial reviews to understand client objectives and recommend appropriate deposit, lending, and investment strategies
Serve as a trusted advisor by providing guidance on wealth planning, credit structuring, and financial solutions
Build and maintain a strong referral network with attorneys, CPAs, estate planners, and other centers of influence
Partner with internal teams, including branch leadership and lending partners, to identify cross-sell and relationship expansion opportunities
Perform ongoing relationship reviews to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and portfolio growth
Deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience aligned with service standards and brand expectations
Represent the organization through active participation in networking events and professional organizations
Ensure all client activities and transactions comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk standards
Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, referrals, and business development activity
Stay informed on market trends, economic conditions, and financial strategies impacting client portfolios
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Minimum of three (3) years of banking experience and three (3) years of customer service experience
Strong knowledge of retail banking, credit solutions, investment offerings, and cash management services
Proven experience in relationship management, private banking, wealth management, or financial advisory roles
Demonstrated success in business development, networking, and referral generation
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and confidently
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
Professional presence with the ability to manage high-touch client relationships
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Preferred

Master's degree, wealth management certification, or financial planning designation preferred
Five (5)+ years of banking and customer service experience preferred
