Responsibilities
Ensure all security controls align strictly with HITRUST and HIPAA frameworks
Assist in the management of security policies and procedures
Verify that IT-related policies, procedures, and standards remain current and aligned with control requirements
Contribute to the preparation and execution of formal security audits
Contribute to the strategic direction and ongoing optimization of the Google SecOps (SIEM/SOAR) platform, including playbooks, collection of evidence and alerting
Research and engineer solutions to recurring security problems
Effectively communicate security-related information and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure and compliant infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or higher degree in management or computer security-related domain
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in an IT compliance/security role with working knowledge of the HITRUST CSF and HIPAA Security Rule
Experience with security in on-premises and cloud environments (GCP or AWS)
Hands-on experience with SIEM and SOAR platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Familiarity with security solutions such as firewalls and endpoint security
