Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all aspects of the business operations, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
Serve as a senior leader to the engineering team to help develop and implement innovative solutions to improve production processes and product qualities
Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products and services meet industry standards and customer specifications
Supervise, mentor, and develop teams across multiple departments while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Work closely with operations and management teams to be a champion for safety
Understand and manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures
Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, engineering and operations projects, and improvement initiatives to senior management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field. Experience will be considered in lieu of education
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations or engineering management in metal forming, manufacturing, or similar field
Extensive experience in engineering and process improvement
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
Proficiency using engineering and manufacturing software
