Government Administration

Responsibilities

Analyzes policies and operations, identifies strategies to make improvements, and facilitates collaboration among different groups to resolve issues
Performs budget-related review, planning, and development activities
Performs other job responsibilities as assigned
Evaluates, develops and interprets policies/procedures
Conducts program or project analyses and develops and recommends solutions/methods to increase productivity/efficiency and streamline operations
May serve as a lead worker and the related tasks

Required

Bachelor's Degree in business administration, public administration, or a related discipline
3 YEARS business analysis, project or program administration, or related experience for Special Projects Coordinator I
4 YEARS business analysis, project or program administration, or related experience for Special Projects Coordinator II
5 YEARS business analysis, project or program administration, or related experience for Special Projects Coordinator III
Valid driver's license
Budgeting methods and procedures
Applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Maintaining effective working relationships with others
Prioritizing and organizing work assignments
Facilitating groups using effective communications methods; contributing to and guiding groups in defining objectives, staying on task and reaching consensus; soliciting participation, challenging ideas and summarizing accomplishments and planned actions
Coordinating labor, materials, and equipment
Sedentary work: Lift up to 10 lbs. at a time and occasionally carry files/small tools
Light work: Lift up to 20 lbs. at a time and frequently lift or carry objects up to 10 lbs
