Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting
At least 2 – 4 years audit, review, compilation and accounting experience in the commercial, non-profit sectors
Well-rounded knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
Knowledge of Statement of Standards of Accounting and Review Services (SSARS)
Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping software including QuickBooks and Engagement
Good oral and written communication skills
Experience in supervising staff
Current and valid CPA license or eligible to take California CPA Exam
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Preferred
Benefit plan audit experience a plus
Public accounting preferred
Experience in the private sector acceptable
