Responsibilities

Analyze raw material, labor, and overhead costs
Track actual vs. standard costs—explain variances
Support multiple plant managers on cost and inventory issues
Maintain cost accounting systems and BOMs
Handle month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations
Support physical inventory and cycle counts
Drive financial reporting and improvement projects
Back up other cost accountants as needed

Qualification

Required

BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
3–5 years of cost accounting in manufacturing
Strong Excel and ERP experience
Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple tasks

Preferred

Power BI or other business intelligence tools
Database/reporting experience
Solid understanding of inventory and ROI metrics
