Responsibilities

Lead the engineering and operational strategy for cloud-based data platforms and shared services
Drive the design and adoption of self-service data, analytics, machine learning, and generative AI solutions
Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and scalability through strong operational and SRE practices
Modernize cloud data platforms using automation, reusable patterns, and standardized architectures
Partner with security, risk, and compliance teams to meet governance and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with application teams, enterprise data stakeholders, and vendors to align roadmaps and deliver integrated capabilities
Establish monitoring, incident management, and disaster recovery practices for mission-critical platforms
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering teams while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience leading large-scale cloud platforms and engineering teams
Strong experience with cloud data services (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure a plus)
Experience with AI/ML platforms and generative AI technologies
Solid understanding of security, IAM, and compliance in regulated environments
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Experience building enterprise data platforms within financial services or similarly regulated industries
Multi-cloud experience across AWS, Azure, and GCP
