Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or OCI environments
Define and enforce cloud landing zones, including networking, identity & access management (IAM), logging, monitoring, and governance standards
Architect and standardize CI/CD pipelines for application delivery, infrastructure provisioning, and containerized workloads using modern DevOps tools
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, or equivalent tools to ensure consistent and repeatable deployments
Design and manage container platforms and Kubernetes environments (EKS, AKS, GKE, OKE), including ingress, autoscaling, and multi-tenant strategies
Embed DevSecOps practices into the software delivery lifecycle, including security scanning, secrets management, policy-as-code, and compliance automation
Establish observability and reliability frameworks, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response aligned with SRE best practices
Lead cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives, including capacity planning, cost monitoring, and spend optimization strategies
Define cloud governance standards, reference architectures, and best practices to support enterprise adoption and scalability
Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to align cloud solutions with business and compliance requirements
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and design guidance to DevOps, platform, and engineering teams
Review architecture designs, code, and pipelines to ensure adherence to security, performance, and operational standards
Support cloud migrations, modernization initiatives, and hybrid/multi-cloud integrations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
3 years total professional experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering
3 years designing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade cloud solutions on Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI)
1 year writing reusable templates and automating infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM)
2 years building automated pipelines for application delivery and infrastructure updates using CI/CD & DevOps Tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
1 year managing containerized workloads, scaling clusters, and configuring ingress controllers using Containerization & Orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
1 year implementing secure VPCs, subnets, firewalls, and role-based access policies in Networking & IAM (cloud networking, identity & access management)
1 year setting up dashboards, alerts, and log aggregation for system reliability using Monitoring & Observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, cloud-native tools)
1 year embedding automated security scans and compliance checks into pipelines in Security & Compliance (DevSecOps practices, policy-as-code, secrets management)
1 year analyzing cloud spend, implementing cost controls, and optimizing resource utilization in FinOps & Cost Optimization
1 year defining standards and enforcing enterprise cloud adoption frameworks in Cloud Governance (landing zones, reference architectures)
1 year working with developers, security engineers, and infrastructure teams to align solutions in Collaboration (cross‑functional teams)
1 year guiding junior engineers, reviewing designs, and providing technical direction in Leadership & Mentorship
1 year conducting reviews to ensure compliance with performance, security, and operational standards in Architecture Review (designs, pipelines, code)
1 year supporting lift‑and‑shift migrations, refactoring applications, and enabling hybrid/multi‑cloud integrations in Cloud Migrations & Modernization
