AP / Purchasing Coordinator
Francis Construction Group is a Chicago-based general contractor and certified MBE/DBE firm performing both GC and self-performed subcontractor work. We are seeking a highly organized AP / Purchasing Coordinator to support our accounting and operations teams by managing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and assisting with invoice processing.
Responsibilities
Prepare and issue purchase orders for materials, rentals, trucking, and services
Track deliveries, tickets, and receipts from vendors and field teams
Organize documentation to support invoice approval and payment
Assist with three-way matching (purchase order, receipt, vendor invoice)
Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, documentation, and discrepancies
Upload and organize documents in company systems (e.g., Procore, shared drives)
Support the accounting team with accounts payable processing
Maintain organized records for auditing and compliance purposes
Qualification
Required
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Comfortable working with invoices, receipts, and documentation
Basic computer proficiency (Excel, email, document management)
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Willingness to learn new systems and processes
Preferred
Construction, accounting, or purchasing experience
Familiarity with QuickBooks or Procore
Spanish bilingual
