Program Manager

Responsibilities

Provide inspirational leadership, program and service coordination, and management in a low-barrier, harm-reduction model
Collaborate with other partnered service agencies as appropriate to ensure continuum of care for residents
Work with staff and residents to ensure the site is a safe and compassionate environment grounded in Native culture and lifeways that supports residents in maintaining housing
Supervise, support, and assist in the professional development of program staff
Respond in a timely manner to all emergency resident and facility issues
Coordinate with Program Supervisor as needed for staff support
Coordinate all emergency services, property management, and maintenance response
Supervise staff scheduling. Assure the programs are open and adequately staffed 365 days a year, filling in as needed. Minimize the use of overtime. Assure appropriate backup is in place at all times
Ensure proper tracking of expenditures including timely receipt and payment request forms as needed
Maintain and/or create accurate, efficient file set up, filing and archiving of tenant files including meeting organizational standards and contract reporting requirements
Maintain confidentiality of occupant information and residency
Coordinate purchasing supplies for office and residents
Respond to resident complaints and issues promptly and seek resolution at the lowest level possible. Review decisions to bar residents from participation in the programs to ensure policy and contract compliance
Actively participate in safety committee meetings, completion of trainings, ensure timely communication of safety updates, and provide leadership and support during emergencies in alignment with organizational protocols
Develop and maintain a workplace which values and supports a culturally Native work and service environment
Attend all mandatory CSC Meetings and events as needed

Required

5 years' experience in social services, homelessness services, and/or Native specific programs
2-year supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership role
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle complaints/conflicts in a calm and professional manner
Dependable, highly motivated and organized
Experience working with homeless and or low-income population
Experience with American Indian/Alaska Native populations

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in business management preferred
