Responsibilities

Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of financial aid professionals
Develop and implement effective financial aid policies and procedures
Oversee the financial aid application process, award packaging, and disbursement
Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to staff
Provide students with financial aid options and eligibility requirements

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree finance, accounting, business, or related field
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a post-secondary education setting
Title IV proprietary education experience
Must not be in default on any Federal Student Loans and must remain in good standing while employed
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in personal computer software applications, including Word, Excel, and Access

Preferred

Master's degree
Minimum five (5) years of supervisory/leadership experience in financial aid operations
Minimum five (5) years' experience administering Title IV financial aid programs
NASFAA credentials or Title IV-related certifications
