YMCA of Columbia-Willamette is looking for passionate individuals to support and enrich the lives of school-age students. The YD Program Associate will provide after school care and help create a safe and engaging environment for children in the McMinnville School District.

Assisting the Lead Teacher or Site Director in maintaining a safe and developmentally appropriate classroom environment

Implementing a fun and engaging curriculum

Fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and the school community

Required

Pass a YMCA Background Check

At least 240 hours of qualifying experience working with school age children in the past five years, an Associates or higher degree in a related field, or a Step 6 on the Oregon Registry

Meet all Program Leader standards as dictated by the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care

Current enrollment in the Oregon State Childcare Registry or ability to enroll prior to employment

Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days

Current Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within 30 days

At least 18 years of age
