Responsibilities

Research new and repeat conferences and events to determine alignment for attendance
Communicate with colleagues and vendors to ascertain availability for attendance
Plan and organize participation in conferences and events
Set up exhibit space at conferences and events in accordance with established protocols
Attend in-person conferences and events to promote energy efficiency programs to customers
Identify, document, and implement process improvement opportunities

Required

Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited institution in marketing, communications, and Public Relations and graduating between December 2026 and May 2029
Students graduating in May/June 2026 are not eligible unless they are enrolling in a post-graduate degree program in the fall term of 2026
Must have completed sophomore-level course work for consideration
A valid driver's license and a safe driving record is required
Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required

Preferred

3.0 GPA
Knowledge of Energy/Utility industry
Strong written communication skills
Energy efficiency experience
Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint)
Independent, energetic, team player and inquisitive spirit
