McDonald's is seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join their Restaurant Experience team as the Senior Director Global Operations. This role will be critical in shaping and executing McDonald’s corporate-owned restaurant strategy across global markets, advising senior leadership on operations and franchising matters while driving alignment and performance across McOpCo markets.

Responsibilities

Shape and execute McDonald’s short- and long-term McOpCo strategy using data, operational insights, and franchising expertise

Advise senior leadership on global operations and franchising matters, leveraging deep cross-functional knowledge

Lead strategic projects focused on scaling management tools, frameworks, and standardized ways of working across McOpCo markets

Influence the development of global policies, procedures, and guidelines to support a consistent McOpCo operating model

Negotiate high-impact agreements with long-term implications for the organization

Collaborate across disciplines and geographies to align stakeholders and drive resolution on complex issues

Required

15+ years of experience in operations, finance, and/or franchising, ideally within a global QSR brand

Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Proven success in strategic advisory or transformation roles

Experience working in global, matrixed organizations and navigating multi-market environments

Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Ability to lead through influence and drive change without direct authority
