Responsibilities
Lead and support the utility-focused sales team, ensuring sales objectives are met and exceeded
Work with leadership to align team performance with broader organizational goals
Deliver exceptional customer service by supporting order processing and responding to technical inquiries
Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic outreach and strong relationship building
Promote a diverse range of technical products and services to clients in the utility sector
Coordinate with operations and purchasing teams to ensure accuracy in order entry, quotations, and account setup
Maintain strong internal communication to ensure efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and issue escalation
Qualification
Required
5+ years previous sales or inside sales experience, ideally within a technical or industrial environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term customer relationships
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Technical aptitude and the ability to learn and understand product lines quickly
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Professional, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach to work
Preferred
Post-secondary education preferred
Electrical industry knowledge is an asset
