Business Development Representative
ePac Flexible Packaging is a company focused on providing consumer packaged goods companies the ability to compete with larger brands through innovative packaging solutions. The Business Development Representative (BDR) will drive growth by acquiring new customers and expanding market presence, focusing on lead generation, qualification, and conversion while collaborating with the sales team to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities
Manage and follow up on leads provided by the company
Engage in outbound calling to initiate contact with prospects
Independently identify and generate new leads through research, networking, and outbound calls/emails
Qualify leads and set up meetings with potential customers and experienced sale executives
Develop and maintain relationships with prospective customers
Qualify leads and schedule appointments for sales team members
Understand customer needs and present appropriate flexible packaging solutions
Close sales and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and acquisition targets
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM system
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals
Collaborate with the Sales Manager and team members to develop and implement effective sales strategies
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors
Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams based on customer interactions and market insights
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
Provide ongoing support to clients to foster long-term relationships and repeat business
Represent the ePac brand in a positive manner
Participating in partnership and problem solving sessions, as well as product line trials with existing/new customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
Excellent communication skills: Must have ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, communicate sales targets and objectives, and build relationships with clients and stakeholders
Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills: Must possess the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
Ability to identify and address potential issues or challenges that may arise in the sales process
A proactive approach to problem solving, aiming to prevent issues rather than simply cure problems after they occur
A disciplined, structured approach to work, demonstrating organizational skills in planning, documenting, and keeping to agreed schedules
Ability to respond to evolving objectives and work in an agile delivery environment
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is vital for success
Understanding customer needs, providing exceptional customer service, and developing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
Must be proficient in using software systems and other tools to streamline sales processes, track performance, and analyze data
Must be able to adapt to changing market conditions, overcome obstacles, and remain resilient in the face of setbacks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong computer skills are a must
