Responsibilities
Input to the computer and reconcile daily cash and charge sales
Reconciles cash and charge sales on a daily basis
Records and prepares deposits of cash receipts on a daily basis
Prepares and mails account billings, invoices and statements to clients and customers
Establishes and maintains accurate accounts receivable records, files and systems
Maintains cooperative working relationships with customers as pertains to customer accounts and billings
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge, understanding and sensitivity to the Inupiat culture
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge and understanding of general accounting practices, procedures and routines
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of accounts receivable functions, routines and guidelines
Ability to operate computer systems relating to accounting and financial reporting
Proficient written and oral communication
Preferred
Vocational training or college course work preferred
The ability to speak and understand the Inupiaq language is important and preferred
