Responsibilities
Provides product configuration services for manufacturing operations and processes to meet business needs and requirements
Applies specific functional knowledge, working/general industry knowledge
Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
Works independently with some guidance; may review or guide activities of more junior employees
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience as a Configuration Manager (CM) supporting government contracts or programs
5+ years experience with CM aspects of physical and virtual access controls, labeling, and maintenance procedures that are specifically laid out in an System Security Plan (SSP) and related security documentation
Experience with configuration management principles, methodologies, and tools such as DOORS or Eclipse
Experience with developing or modifying CM plans, policies, and procedures tailored to the complexity and scope of the developmental or operational system
Experience performing change control and configuration audits
Ability to manage multiple configuration items and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline OR a HS Diploma/GED and 12+ years of experience as a Configuration Manager
Preferred
Experience maintaining the CM environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing and integration
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and managing configurations in cloud environments
Knowledge of automated deployment and continuous integration tools
Ability to work independently
