2+ years expTrainMind is seeking experienced Investment Banking and Private Equity professionals for a remote contract role. The position focuses on supporting an AI training and financial modeling project by replicating real-world financial workflows to enhance AI financial reasoning systems.
Responsibilities
Build detailed financial models from scratch, including LBOs, DCFs, operating models, and transaction-driven analyses
Evaluate, refine, and validate AI-generated financial reasoning, ensuring accuracy, logical rigor, and professional-grade outputs
Review deal-related scenarios, prompts, and work products, improving clarity, depth, and analytical quality
Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to enhance AI model performance and real-world financial realism
Deliver structured, transparent, and audit-ready financial analysis, aligned with standards used at top-tier banking and PE firms
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2+ years of direct, on-desk experience in Investment Banking or Private Equity at a top-tier firm (Academic experience does not count)
Strong track record in transaction execution, deal modeling, valuation, and financial analysis
Proven ability to construct models independently and articulate assumptions clearly
Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and ability to review technical financial content
Ability to commit minimum 20 hours/week, working fully remotely and asynchronously
