Responsibilities

Assumes responsibility for the smooth functioning of all day-to-day administrative operations

Operational responsibilities include staff and substitute scheduling, inventory maintenance, payroll processing, financial record keeping, customer reception and general office duties

Maintains children’s records and files, waiting lists and processes new children

Demonstrates a high level of commitment to customer service through effective communication with parents, teachers and children

Develops and implements policies and procedures that support operational business objectives

Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to fire, safety and licensing

Assumes responsibility for the childcare center in the absence of the Child Care Director

Supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation
