Bay Area Hospital is always searching for quality people to join their team. The Stress Lab Technician supports the staff in the testing environments of the Stress Lab and outpatient Cardiology Services, including holter monitors, EKGs, and device clinic.

Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location

Ability to read, write, and converse effectively in the English language

Demonstrates the ability to work with various clinical, non-clinical, machines and equipment that is used in the various cardiology areas the cardiac technician is assigned

Ability to use the various software programs in the cardiology areas

Ability to respond quickly and think clearly in high pressure scenarios to meet the needs of the patient and the unit assigned

Minimum high school graduate or equivalent

Willing to take the certification(s) for cardiac testing including EKG certification

Able to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach and stretch frequently

May be required to lift up to 75 lbs

Must use standard precautions due to threat of exposure to blood and body fluids

Needs the ability to communicate effectively through reading, writing, and speaking in person or on the telephone

Requires significant use of computer, phone and general office equipment
