Smartphone Launch & GTM Strategy Lead (Senior Manager), E-Commerce DTC

Responsibilities
Own the full GTM lifecycle for smartphone launches and Key Buying Moments on Samsung.com, from early strategy through post-event optimization
Serve as the single point of accountability for GTM outcomes across revenue, margin, mix, inventory, and customer experience
Define clear success metrics, decision principles, and trade-offs for each launch and KBM
Translate global product and brand strategy into U.S. samsung.com GTM plans for launches and KBMs
Lead integrated planning across Product, Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, E-commerce, CX, Pricing Operations, CRM, Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal
Design GTM strategy
Ensure alignment and consistency across all customer touchpoints
Own offer architecture for launches
Run volume and revenue scenario planning to balance sales growth, profitability, and inventory objectives
Partner with Finance to model outcomes and manage P&L trade-offs
Drive readiness across site experience, systems, inventory allocation, merchandising, and customer support
Run GTM governance, timelines, and decision forums; surface risks early and drive resolution
Operate hands-on during launches and KBMs to ensure speed, quality, and issue resolution
Own performance tracking, lead cross-functional war rooms, and executive-level reporting
Rapidly diagnose issues and lead course correction
Capture, document and institutionalize learnings to continuously improve Samsung’s GTM execution
Lead through influence in a highly matrixed, global organization
Align senior stakeholders with competing priorities
Serve as a trusted thought partner on GTM strategy and execution
Qualification
Required
8–12+ years in go-to-market, category management, commercial leadership, or strategy
Proven ownership of complex, high-stakes launches and peak commercial events with measurable revenue impact
Experience in large, matrixed organizations
Experience engaging with VP-level stakeholders
Strong exposure to e-commerce and/or consumer electronics
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred
Deep understanding of GTM mechanics: pricing, promotions, trade-in, financing, and demand shaping
Strong P&L mindset, experience in P&L simulation and sales forecasting
Customer-backward thinking grounded in data
Ability to move seamlessly from strategy definition to hands-on execution
Comfort making high-impact decisions under tight timelines
Proven ability to lead during ambiguity and incomplete information
Strong planning, prioritization, and risk management skills
Exceptional influence without authority
Proven track record aligning diverse teams and driving decisions at speed
Clear, concise executive communication and storytelling
Strong command of GTM and performance KPIs
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Tableau experience (Desktop preferred); familiarity with Jira and Confluence
Ownership mindset and bias to action
