Responsibilities
Support the Manufacturing Production Team to execute our KPI's: Safety first, Quality above Delivery, Inventory, and Cost
Lead process optimization and equipment layout improvements to boost efficiency in assembly, testing, and shipping
Develop manufacturing procedures, standard work, and tooling concepts for repeatability and cost reduction
Identify and resolve bottlenecks by collaborating with design engineering, quality, and production teams
Monitor key metrics (OEE, quality, cycle time) and implement corrective actions
Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies
Create and maintain training materials and work instructions for technicians and operators
Standardize processes across product lines for consistency and knowledge transfer
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
3+ years of experience in manufacturing process development or industrial engineering
Strong knowledge of process flow, equipment layout, and work standardization
Must have work authorization to work for Hitachi Energy in the U.S
Preferred
Master's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
Experience in high-mix, low-volume, or engineered-to-order environments
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement principles
Green Belt certification
