Intern
The City of San Diego is seeking an intern for the Community Planning Department to assist with various planning initiatives. The role involves supporting research and documentation efforts related to city planning and urban design.

Responsibilities
Support existing conditions research for Community Planning initiatives, such as Community Plan Updates
Assist with urban design research, including identifying case studies
Help prepare summaries, reports, and graphics to document findings
Qualification
Required
15 ½ years of age or older
Must be a United States citizen or have the current legal right to work in the United States
Must be enrolled in a continuing education, traditional education, or training program
Preferred
Experience or interest in city planning and urban design
Strong organization and writing skills
Ability to synthesize research
Familiarity with Microsoft Office
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
Familiarity with SketchUp
